I have the 8.11 version currently installed from the factory in my stereo. I am trying to decide wherther or not I want to install 8.19 or try to find a copy of 8.18 and install that first. I have two questions if anyone can help.
1. Should I leave it alone and keep it at 8.11?
2. Should I install 8.19 or wait until I find 8.18 and do that first?
I just downloaded 8.19 last night from the MoCo webpage. I plan on installing it, just have not gotten around to do it yet. I have upgraded mine at least twice so far with no regrets. They don't always go up one digit at a time (8.18 to 8.19) the last one I knew about was the 8.11.
From what I understand talking with a tech that worked for the motor company. The last upgrade was modified to help your clock keep time without reseting manually. I will leave mine alone and reset myself.
My clock was reseting manuelly prior? I think . daylights savings this spring being early I just set it myself. and last fall I think It took awhile til it did it automaticly. Maybe a more accurite automatic upgrade?
