Wanting to get a pull behind trailer. This will be the first time I have ever ridden with one and looking for sugestions. Not looking to build one but looking to buy an inexpensive one. Anyone got any links or photos. Also any advice on pulling would be great. Thanks.
You talk to a hundred guys and you'll get a hundred different opinions as to the best trailer. We've put over 80K on our Aluma and it works great for us. You might check https://www.hdforums.com/forum/hacke...railering-100/ . They have had some good discussions about trailers in there.
I built my own trailer and towed it 3500 miles from Phoenix to the Black Hills and back. Once you get it rolling, you almost forget it's back there. Just remember to allow for the extra mass when stopping (additional distance) and for additional length and width when turning and manuevering. Try to pull through parking spaces rather than back the trailer in or out. They jackknife really easily when backing. It's a lot of fun, though!

I purchased this book prior to buying my camper and it is full of a lot of good info. A lot of it is common sense stuff but you know what they say about that
My father and I both Pull one of these with our bikes. He rides a 05 Fatboy and I ride and 05 Ultra. Both have no problem pulling when loaded. Plus it is a super cheap option.
I'll be the one to say stuff ya won't want to hear...
I give all the credit in the world to anyone pulling a trailer, ride with friends that do,but no way in hell I'm ever hooking one up.
With all the morons on the road and how it keeps getting worse I don't want to be riding with my wife on board and get caught trying to steer my way out of a bad situation with a trailer messing up my maneuverability.
Had a cage drift halfway into my lane rounding a blind curve on a road
trip with my wife this past summer, pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to streer clear and been screwed if we'd been pulling a trailer.
If i can't fit it in my saddle bags 'n tourpak or on the luggage rack,it ain't going.
