Default Gor it done>>

Thanks to the courage I gained and the knowledge learned on this forum from users like bubbas1 I got my inner fairing finished last night. You just have to go slow and be patient. Actually took less time then I thought it would. I makes a big difference.
Now on to my next project, new cams or chrome front end........

I started on mine today and got the old one off. Piece of cake so far and I didn't have to take the ignition switch or accessory switches off. I am replacing a damaged inner fairing with a new stock colored one. Next weekend I'll put the new one on if it's warm enough in my garage.

I can't believe I found a damned live stink bug hanging around on one of wiring harnesses in there. SOB got away to somewhere in the tangle of wires and every time I moved the wiring harnesses around he left off his stink. Damn things won't die even in weather regularly in the teens at night.

Got mine apart today in 1.5 hours thanks to this thread, I did remove the radio first so I could install a aux jack in the back of it to plug my gps into.

Default Excellent Write Up Thank You!!

Now if I can find a thread like this with pictures to show me how to remove my 2006's throttle cables the manual will be for just in case I get stuck. The color actual pictures make a big difference. Now I have to decide if I'm going to get the replacement inner fairing painted or keep it stock flat black. With a black cherry bike unless it's in bright sun it looks black. Maybe I'll go with a vivid black. Thanks again.
