Was chainging fluids last night on my 09 Ultra and noticed a few shavings on the primary drain plug magnet. Wasn't much, didn't completely cover the bolt end, but was enough to wipe off and most looked to be maybe a quarter inch long, and thin like, well shavings.
I wonder with all the talk about the clutch compensator, could the shavings be a symptom of a compensator problem? I also have to admit the primary was a little low on juice. I poured the drained fluid into a bottle with a scale on the side and had about 30 oz. Checked the manual and now I know it takes 38 oz.

DUH...That is why there is a magnet? On my '04, I don't even pay attention to the magnt. I pull it out wipe it off. I guess if there were a chain link attached, that would be bad.
