It's official. Winter is here and the bike is now put away for the winter. First snowfall of the winter occurred this weekend and the trucks are out with the salt. I hate winter. Once the salt is laid down that's it for me. How do others decide when to call it quits for the winter?

When I lived in N.J. I rode year round exept when there was Snow or Ice on the ground, A scarf was the trick to keep warm and a leather jacket, After an hour I used to have to stop to defrost my steel tips in my boots LOL...Crash
Don't get much snow my way but if it does I hope for a rain to wash away the salt and ride. Between leathers along with Gerbings gloves and foot liners I am good to go.
