Valve stem?
Just ordered a pair from motorcycleanchor.com. I've got a new set of Dunlop American Elites sitting in the garage. I'll hopefully be swapping to the new tires and installing these new stems next week.
I have the silver ones so I can find them easier. And I think the silver is faster than the black. :-)
I tried about 3 months ago and what a PITA, kept blocking at the bend. Simple solution I used was to inflate tire to get the bead to seal then break the bead on one side only and have that side facing up. Then just push down on the tire just enough to allow the dyna beads to pour in and inflate tire again. Worked like a charm and was actually quicker than filling through the stem.
with harleys "28?" spoke wheels i have seen where it'd be a pain to put air in the tires. that valve stem looks like a very well built quality piece, and should make adding air and checking pressure much easier on those wheels. whatever you do, don't use those red-yellow-green striped type which are supposed to show the air pressure by looking at them. they are a potential safety hazard, and prone to failure. imagine you're bopping down the highway and you suddenly lose air pressure in a tire, it's not worth using the gimmick type that i mentioned. the aluminum ones sure look like they'd work great.
Thanks , I'll try that

Got the motorcycle anchor valve stems installed this weekend when I got the new tires on. Look great! When I got home I decided to check the air pressure just to see...and yes, sooo much easier than stock.
Did you have to angle them so as to clear the brake calipers or can they go into the rim at a right angle & not have to worry about brake caliper clearance?
Anyone else has any experience with this?
Thanks!
