Dealers do not flash the mileage...when the guage is ordered the vendor does the flashing...it is not cost effective to pay to have it re-flashed on a used guage...there are some 2011 take off's that will work for you on ebay....

The whole idea is I have a 07 FLHT standard so I'm missing the 2 gauges and it looks odd without them....add in they are that dull black and I have a super deal.
Be careful on what year bike these came off and what year they are going on. All speedo's are not compatible even if they look the same. The new style 6 gallon tank vs the 5 will not work. Something to do with the low fuel light staying on.
i just went through this on my 98 fxdl. lcd is broken at 12k miles and i bought a new one that was "set" at the factory at 5k miles. i was told that mine cannot be reset to a new number, even from the factory. stated that it is the manufacturer of the speedo that does it when made to order, but they wont go back and redo it. at least thats the answer that i got from HD in milwaukee.
