Those are the ones I used too. The chrome is a nice accent to the vivid black latches. I used a heat gun to soften the body tape holding the stock reflectors in. At the same time I replaced the two per side sockethead screws with chrome ones from Ace @ $2.07 each. A small but really noticable upgrade.

I hear you on that! We just got our 1st measurable snowfall of the year today. I'm waiting till mid January to do mine so when it's done I hope to have only 5 weeks or so to wait to ride .....

Nice looking ride! I don't know how the calendar works in your neck of the woods, but around here winter is still a few weeks away. I believe what you finished were your FALL mods, so you'd better get started on your plans for winter .....

Buying the bike really was the cheapest part.

My early winter mods are complete, too.

Next up: late early winter mods, followed by mid winter mods, late-mid winter mods, late winter mods and finally late-late winter/early spring mods. The more I do, the further behind I seem to get.

I guess us Canadians just do the early winter mods, then sit by the window and wait for spring .
