harley#1, there won't be a fight, I respect the Dr. and have bought from them before, they love J & M because it is what they sell and a good product, but it is not as good as Hawg Wired period, and Frank at Drago's is a sponsor as well and sells Hawg Wired

I run the J&M 7.25" without an amp. I found they are great without any amp. They were like night and day.
With the HD speakers, I heard them OK at low speed. But when I was on a Cross Country trip, at 75 MPH it was hard to hear other than the melody the HD speakers. With the J&Ms, I could hear the words as well as the melody.
Hog Wired might be better with the amp, but I am happy for the music to be heard by me. I don't care how it sounds inside the car next to me.
