I was raised in Dade City (Dead city) just North of Tampa near Zephyrhills (Suffering Hills). I have family all over the place including having a few city streets named after relatives in Lakeland. I've lived in Charleston SC for the last 20 years and I'm looking to take a job in Orlando. Got to say...kinda concerned about moving. The actual moving, the new job, etc will be stressful. I'm kinda a Carolina guy now.
Anyway...I don't remember the riding being all that "interesting" around Orlando. I'm only contemplating moving back to be closer to my aging family. You know, help out and all.
Just wondering how bad or good the riding is now-a-days...

Welcome "Hew" guy to Florida and the forum. Sorry for the slight hi-jack.
lp, I lived in Orlando for 26 years and the riding around the metro area is not too exciting. Got to get several miles out of town to get away from all the tourists but there are plenty of good runs around the surrounding areas. Good thing is you can ride year round. Well, almost, it hit 32 degrees here in Cape Coral the other day and I just couldnt bring myself to get all bundled up to ride to work (lol).
