Just finished my project for the motorcycle lift. Harbor Freight 1000LB lift table ($280.00) Universal Motorcycle Stand ($40.00), 14 80# bags of Quickcrete, and some time and effort. Have been working on it since Mid November, had to recruit help from family and friends since I had my right bicep reatached on November 8th and am still going through therapy with it. All is great and looking forward to working on the bike now.
I like it, didnt care or trust their tire chock/clamp so I purchased their universal motorcycle stand and bolted it to the table (cut the front support down to fit inside table edges to give more stability. It is a little narrow for pulling the bike on and off of but I managed without any issues. For the money I would do it again as long as the coupons from the magazines are used to get a realistic value.
Check in motorcycle magazines or at the local bike shop for the free mags like Thunder Press for coupons, I know right now they have it for $279.99 good thru April 8th 2011.
I got mine for like $275 also about 2 years ago now. Hands down best thing I have added to my shop so far, other than the bike of course! I have used that table for lots of stuff, working on bikes, riding lawn mower(barely fits, all 4 tires are 1/2 on, but it works!)push mower, and extra assembly area when doing wood working projects. I LOVE IT! NEVER tried to tip over, and I just wheel mine under work bench when not in use.
I even was on top of it with a Honda 600RR helping my buddy replace his fuel tank. Loooong story, but the table was all the way up, bike strapped down, and I got up on it as well, sat on the bike and held/worked the fuel tank while he was under it figuring out our problem....
They used to let you use 2 coupons together, but my store just stopped that. I got mine for like $279 and used a 20% coupon off to cover all the tax and a little more off.....May check to see with your local store, ours just changed......
