Default EFI Tuning Modules

Got a 2007 Ultra bone stock. I know they run a little hot from a factory lean setting. Can you use any of the tuning modules on the market I.E. PCiii, fuel pak etc. to enrich the fuel mix a little. My Ultra runs great at speed, but at 10 to 15 mph she surges a little. thanks griffy

Short answer...YES. I've run a T-Max on my '07 Ultra for 3 years now.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. SEPH10 I called V & H Fuel Pak and got a hold of a Derek in cust svc. He told me that the Fuel Pak would not help without a set of pipes and a intake such as the Screaming Eagle or the K and N. Thats why I was inquiring if another one might. I will now check on the T-Max. thanks again griffy

A PCV will be able to richen the mixture using the stock pipes and intake. Jamie at Fuelmoto can set one up to run on an '07.

Check out FuelMoto, a sponsor of HD Forum. Jamie can fix you up with pre-mapped systems and super support, no dyno runs necessary. A PCIII or V will make a huge difference in the way it runs and how cool it stays.

I did not think PCV was available for an '07. PCIII only.

my 07 ran way hot stumbled surged and pinged, started with ied"s kept the rest stock, ran better but would still ping when it got really hot, next stg1 from fuelmoto slip ons se backing plate and pcv,way happy camper.no more ping or surge or stumble, and so much more throttle response.that was with the canned map,no need for dyno time for me.later added a switch for 2 map setup better mpg on highway or rich map for heat control or backroading with the wife and gear onboard.

I'm running a PCV from Fuelmoto on my 07. Put it on in early '09 and added autotune & cams last year. For cooling & increased performance you can't beat their Power Package. IMHO it's the best bang for your buck out there.
