I have a 105 Anniversary Street Glide with copper and black paint. I like the colors but would like to customize it some. Has anyone done this and if so I would love to see pics. Suggestions as to what would look good would be great. Thanks

 

I have the same paint and haven't touched mine but I saw one at Americade that had pinstripes and it looked sweet. They did a tribal theme.

 

when they first came out in 08 i didn't care for it much, the duracell look just didn't do much for me. i bought an 08 vivid black streetglide instead, but after a while i started really liking that color combination. i don't see that color combination much anymore, but when i do see one, i get to thinking, hmm, wish i would have gotten that color rather than my black. i've not seen one with any custom pinstriping, but i'm sure it'd look great if it were done right.

I have a 105th ultra - thought of going with black instead of chome trim / pipes , etc - saw it on another bike and it looked good -- no pics.

When I first bought mine, I bought for the price, not the color, thinking I would paint it later. The color started to grow on me, and now when I pull up next to 100's of black bikes, I'm glad I didn't. Nothing wrong with black bikes, they are just hard to keep clean. I also get many complements from the non riding public about the color. I don't give it much thought about painting now.

 

I don't know how many times I've pulled up to a stoplight when out riding with my buddys (mostly Harley) and have had someone in the other lane tell me my 105th FXDL is the best looking of the bunch. Personally, I think the VROD in 105th trim is the best looking...

 

105th ultra and I painted the lower fairing top caps vivid black with the pinstriping to match the rest of the bike as well as the inner fairing two tone with the same pinstriping. I think it should have come from the factory that way. I also powedercoated black the front forks and engine guard.

 

 

 

Loved my 08 SG. Bought it because of the color. And they discounted it. Took off the almost 3k add on. So I paid the same as if it was vivid black. And like was said. I got more compliments on that color. Same as my black quartz RGS. Its different.
