2014 Road King Rear Lighting Question.
I have a 2014 Road King and would like to change the rear lights. Just wondering of someone can comment on whether the rear lights off of a street glide or road glide are a direct replacement. Pics attached for reference. I have the standard lighting on the top pic and would like to go to the lighting on the bottom pic. Any advice is more than welcome. Thanks.

I also have a 2014 RK and was considering the same mod - see below for part number. However, I decided instead to add the front/back bullet turn signal kit (69153-03A) to the existing mounting brackets on my bike...bullets front and back for less $$.
Street/Road Glide-Style Rear Bullet Turn Signals - Rear Bullet Turn Signal # 68997-09 - that fits 14-15 RK: 15 June 2016: A forum member confirmed number "I can indeed confirm that the above part 68997-09 is the one I use for my 15 King, it mounted up no problem and looks and works great. I did re-use the tag light from the stock light bar, since it plugs right back in to the taillight, whereas the tag light from the -09 part does not, and requires spicing. That's the one I used in my conversion and it works perfectly. I did find it easier to remove the tag light from the original "2x4" turn signal bar and swap it out with the one that came with 68997-09.

Is it directly plug and play? Meaning, unplug the old lights and plug in the new?
I assume so, just want to make sure, because those lights look great. Never much was a fan of the pancake lights BUT at the same time, does add character but depending on your answer, I can see me picking up four of those you posted above.
I guess I answered my own question after going to the HD site, as expected just unplug the old and in with the new ... right?

The front/back bullet kit is on order. Sorry, I can't comment on the install. I read a post here from a rider who was installing the front bullets. It didn't sound like there was any splicing to do...just exchanging some kit wires for the signals to the existing connectors shared by the front auxiliary lights. I'm guessing that headlight removal is necessary to get to the connectors(?). The rear probably just requires a similar hook-up in the tail-light housing. A close-up pic of the kit looked like the wire ends had pin connectors already installed. It takes some work but once done it's done.
Also, there is a kit to install a shorter (10" vs 13" stock) straight rear signal bar (68611-98). It brings each signal in about 1.5" on each side.
Have fun...
