Question Tour Pak Modification Question

I am looking to go with a hidden antennae for my Electra Glide and want to get rid of the antennae mounts that are on the rear "light" bar on the tour pak. Is there a company that makes one without the antennae mounts or do I need to do some sort of custom job? I was looking at the HD LED setup for the tour pak but even that has the antennae mounts.

I think some of those plastic plugs with the bar and shield that are used for the rear fender seat bolt hole on the softails siliconed in there would be nearly unnoticeable? And only a few bucks.

I got some short antennas (like 3") and installed those. Most people think that they are functional even though they arent. You could use some type of plugs if you removed the antenna posts from the assembly also.

Yep ... I've put "vacuum plugs" on the studs and they look like they came from the factory ... very inconspicuous and understated ...

Exactly what I did. In fairing antennas & vacuum plugs. They will split after 2-3 years so be prepared to budget for another $.99...

That is a good idea, think I might go that route.

On mine I removed the studs and silicone'd in some hole plugs - almost disappears.
