Just received my new Tour Pak for my Road Glide. It's got the antenna mounting base on it. I'd like to find a way to cover the actual mounting point where the antenna connects (screws in) on the rear of the tour pak since I'll be using an antenna inside the fairing. Anyone have any pointers on what to use?
get the painted fender gap fillers...they have a hole and come with a rubber plug...it will make that RG's rear more attractive and they bolt on...the rear docking point goofy loop goes thru the hole...on mine, i'm takin the loopy thing off when the TP aint bein used and puttin the rubbers in....look at the back of a SG and you'll see the filler panel
I was talking about the mount point that is actually on the Tour Pak itself where the antenna mounts. But, your post is interesting. I didn't think the filler panels could be put on the Road Glide. I looked on the HD site and it specifically points out it will not fit a RG.
..kinda funny, I had the opposite problem on my chopped tourpack..it came with no hole for antenna, just goofy directions for drilling one. Go figure.

Surely there is an easy and creative solution that will look good. I'll be giving it some thought and let cha know what I come and with and we can trade stories and between us come up with something that will work and look good.
If it weren't for the location of the holes on the corner egde of the TP it would be an easy fix with a medallion of some sort. I have been looking at options for at least 5 months.[:@]
