Default Tool Kit

I had a 2001 Ultra Classic and it came with a fairly complete and usable tool kit. I then had a 2007 Ultra Classic and it too came with a very nice and usable traveling kit. I just picked up a 2011 Ultra Limited and tool kit that came with it is laughable. Usable, yes but hardly in keeping with what was included with the others. Anyone else have an opinion the the change?

Disappointing.

I agree, picked up my 11 Limited Saturday and was very disappointed in the combo wrench. Quite useless in my opinion.

the same in 2008, the combo wrenches are kinda big to get into a lot of spots but they are for emergency use on the road, if it is a major repair on the road i'm calling a tow truck anyway. at home i have full set of tools.

The one that came with my 210 Limited is a cheep Chinese made POS! Looks like a cheep Leatherman knock-off. More of an insult than a tool kit!

Default Tool Bag

In case you don't have one, like I was. One of those bank bags with the zipper works great. I have a couple of the older bags from a bank my father in law used to do some wiring work for and I spent some time on here in a few different posts about what tools should ya have. Tools are something I am set up pretty good on, so it was simple for me to throw in the stuff I thought I needed, and I have saved the day many times for others. Kit that was a few replys back looked good too. Good luck with your "times are tough" tool kit.

You are right. For $24,000.00 very disappointed in the tool that came with the bike. The one in my 2008 was a lot better.

I'm not surprised that they are getting less and less on the toolkit, how many vehicles have you bought with a toll kit? Now if they want to throw in a jack, tire tool, and spare I'll take it.

I picked up a set of these at a bike show, then filled them with one of these and one of these. The factory kit's in there too.
