Default New street Glide what accessories should I be looking at?

Hey everyone, I just bought my first harley after wanting one for a few good years. I got a 2011 Street Glide with 103 Power pack, the bike is being ordered and I have 2500 dollars to buy accesroies to have installed for pick up. Any advice? Im thinking vance and hines big shot true duals, SE Race tuner and stage 1 vs heavy breather? Next is wifes comfort, so any suggestions on sissy bar or do i need a new seat? and any passenger floor boards I should be thinking of? Any suggestions is appreciated Im looking to get the most bang for my buck, also Helmet suggestions I prefer full face are the harley ones worth the money or should i think HJC Thanks again

Congrats on the bike & playing 20-questions...

Agree w/the exhaust, breather & SERT - although would recommend power duals w/Monster Rounds over big shots (better look on bagger, IMO). HD's backrest is good for passenger & you'll want comfy seat (stock passenger sux). HD helmets are overpriced - best to get sized & shop on-line. Definitely change the stock w/s, unless you like eating wind...Good luck w/all the upgrades!

Agree with Icemans comments.I'll through out my wifes comments after 1 ride "take me home, this seat is horrible".She also did not care for the passenger foot pegs.I bought the highway bar mounting clamps added rear floor boards and used those pegs as my highway bar pegs.

Also, if you like tunes, the stock speekers are junk. For $100 you can upgrade those to Hogtunes.

A good set of grips is a must. Harley makes some nice ones... But the ones they give you? Junk...

Definately a chome front end would be in order in my opinion.
Painted inner fairing.
New windshield for sure.. Long Ride Shields for me, 9 inch classic and I'm 5'10".
New seat, H D Sundowners are pretty good.
New handlebars, amp and new speakers for the stock set up. Hawg wired and Hog Tunes are not bad.

the wife will not be happy with the stock seat, many get the sundowner. And the standand height backrest is also a must for her, they are available in black or chrome. Get the 4pt docking kit if planning involves a 2up luggage rack or tour-pak in the future.

Thanks for all the quick replies, Im researching as much as possible, i just wanted to get the necessities, so I think a sundowner will be in order also is the heavy breather worth the extra money over a stage 1?

I agree with thecort. Take your time and research your options. I wasted BUNDLES of money impulse buying for my first Harley. Buying for my SG is more deliberate. Don't feel you need to buy everything from MOCO. There are alot of awesome aftermarket parts out there.

Congrats on the new ride, I believe your on the right track with your ideas. As far as the wife's comfort, new seat, floorboards, and a backrest.
