custom windshields - Help needed!
I'd still like to have a windshield that go's from a medium dark tint to clear. I think Memphis Shades is the only company that has one but they don't have the re-curve features that yours do. The air control is more important that the shading but I'd like to have both.
The advantage of this is you still have to looks of a dark windshield but when you get caught in nasty weather you can duck down and still see through the top of the windshield.

I don't know why someone doesn't offer the road king windshield in a non cut version. For those that want a custom height, offer one in 22" or so, without the bottom being cut to fit. I would think the old shield could be used as a template. I know this wouldn't be for everyone, but it wouldn't cost you anything not to cut a few, and offer them for guys willing to do their own.
This idea is being offered to you on a 10% commission basis. I believe it could become your best profit item. Think about it, less farbication would cut your expense, and think of all the extras you would sell to guys like me that screw up thier first (2nd, 3rd, 4th...etc...) one.

the gradient will come soon, probobly another month or so. I am trying to decide who I want to do the silk screening or if I want to set up to do it my self. The other option is to do Hd Printing, But that can be $35 dollars a shield.

The shield I'm referring to will be called the Universal shield (at least thats the proto name.) It should be available starting in April or may.

I currently have a Cee Baileys windshield on my 06 FLHT, but would be interested in your setup, as it looks like it would kick the air up more over my head (I'm 6'3") and what I was wondering, was how long of a shield would you recommend for me. Like I said, I'm 6'3" and over the winter I've been using a stock style 10" shield, and last summer I had the Cee Baileys 9" shield (which sits awfully low and has a lot of airflow into my face).
Let me know what length you'd suggest for me to meet somewhere in the middle for something that would work nicely, yet be alright when it gets chilly in the winter.
Also if you could let me know if you could etch it with the POW/MIA symbol that would be cool too.
Thanks,
David

I'm not LRS, but I do have one of their shields. I have an 01 FLHTCUI and I added the 8 inch Ultra with recurve to my scoot. I'm 6'2, and at first I wished I'd gone to the 10 inch, but right now, I'm very happy with the 8. I can look over my shield and have plenty of view, and the recurve has the majority of the wind hitting me above my hairline. You might want the 9 or 10, but you may well be happy with the 8 like I am.
How about a design similar to the Sinister Industries Big Baller 3D Paint-able Windshield (http://www.sinisterindustries.com/st....aspx?itemid=8) , only made of plexi-glass of course! May not be the most practical design, but for those of us that want a cool looking windshield, and don't want to have to pay for paint I think this would be a great selling product!
