Default Chrome..

What do you guys use to clean chrome that has some pitting,but not to bad. Never dull got most of it off but not all of it.?

Lots of years ago I bought a pretty bad shape metric and used Semichrome to clean up alot of the pits and rust on the pipes but not sure I would use it on my harley I have read on hear that it it very abbrasive and just invited more problems later. but it did work cleaned it right up.

I used some 0000 Steel Wool and and some chrome polish to clean up some old chrome rims once. It worked great but I would test it before doing on my Harley.

+1 on the Simichrome Polish. IMO much better than Never Dull.
Used it on my parade saddle when I was in the Shrine Horse Patrol & have used it on my scooter.

S100 Polishing Soap, get it at most HD dealers. Follow the directions and you will be AMAZED before you are halfway through

Mothers chrome polish, not the one for aluminum.

Flitz is very good stuff as well. I usually use Mother's billet on my bike but I have used Flitz on my S&W and it does an amazing job. I'm considering giving it a try on my wheels in the spring.
