Lots of years ago I bought a pretty bad shape metric and used Semichrome to clean up alot of the pits and rust on the pipes but not sure I would use it on my harley I have read on hear that it it very abbrasive and just invited more problems later. but it did work cleaned it right up.
I used some 0000 Steel Wool and and some chrome polish to clean up some old chrome rims once. It worked great but I would test it before doing on my Harley.

+1 on the Simichrome Polish. IMO much better than Never Dull.
Used it on my parade saddle when I was in the Shrine Horse Patrol & have used it on my scooter.
Flitz is very good stuff as well. I usually use Mother's billet on my bike but I have used Flitz on my S&W and it does an amazing job. I'm considering giving it a try on my wheels in the spring.
