Default ULTIMATE SEATS at Bike Week

I apologize in advance if this post isn't in the right area. I live in Central Florida so going to Bike Week is pretty routine. This time I went looking for a more comfortable seat for my 2011 Street Glide. Barry at Crank & Chrome recommended a visit to Ultimate Seats out behind the new Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona Harley Complex. I entered a beautiful, new showroom and was greeted by a very nice woman who gave me a brief tour, demonstration and offered to install a new 3 piece combo seat on my SG to ride around for a couple hours to get a feel for it. She didn't need to offer twice. I putted around back and was greeted by her husband who removed my stock seat and installed the Ultimate. He even offered to clean the area under my old seat before putting the new one on.

I rode off and cruised around the Ormond Beach area for a couple hours and returned. The seat was amazing. No pressure point "butt" burn and very high quality materials and stitching. Well anyway, they offered me 30% off, a free set of rain covers and to send my old seat back home at no charge. What's not to like about all that? My old seat arrived next day and I'm lovin' the new Ultimate! It's really a quality seat and 1st class customer service. I'm a very Happy Camper!

Thats great hear. How much was the seat? Does it push you forward or push you back? Or is it the same size as stock? Wish I could make bike week. Hoping to go in October to Biktoberfest. Enjoy your new seat!

Their nice, well made, comfortable seats. Had one on another bike. They are big. Pretty expensive but sounds like you got a great deal. Not the look I'm going for but a good seat.

Wish my experience with them was the same. Glad it works for you, but it sure didn;t for me. Ordered one, went for the test ride and my butt was in pain in less than 80 miles. Cost me $80 for the shipping to test it.

I had one on my last bike but switched it out for a Mustang which I liked much better.

The Ultimate was OK for awhile when I first got it but then started to get very uncomfortable. I think the foam they used doesn't hold it's shape after awhile.

They also aren't water proof.

Right at $500, does not push me forward or back, it's a 2 piece, passenger seat is larger than stock, I thought Bike Week was way down from normal. The Obanomy is hurting a lot of folks!

Sorry about your experience, Toad. They could not have been more accommodating to me. Buying a Scooter seat is alot like buying a new mattress. There's no way you can tell until after a few horizontal sessions.
