Default Engine Guard Swap

Would anyone know what the difference is between the engine guard on a 1999 and 1990 FLH. I'm looking to replace the scuffed up one thats on my 90 and can get a good deal on one for a 99....will it fit?

49184-88A is used for 88-96 tourers, 49184-97 is used for 97-08 and 49184-09 is used 09 to present. I would say it won't fit.
