Default Hot Ultra

I just got back from Vegas where I rented an 07 Ultra for the day. It was a beautyful day - sunny and 84 degrees. I barely made it out of the city because the bike ran so hot. Both my wife and I had first degree burns for the experience. Once I got out on the open road it was okay but for the time we were in the city we cooked big time. When I dropped it back off at the dealer I told them forget about renting it out to anyone else unless they fixed it. I know from reading other threads on the forum that overheating is a problem with the 07's but this was crazy...

06 Ultra's are just as bad. Had to put a PCIII on it to cool it down. Real nice bike now.

I have an 06, never had a problem, but I am not in the extreme heat of the south west either.

There was a couple times this summer I thought my 06 Ultra put a burn blister on the inside of my right thigh. [:@]

PCIII did help. I still think they run hot.

06 Ultra. No heat problems and I ride in the summer at 115 degrees. It does have SE air,
sert, and slipons. I don't know if they help but it is a GREAT ride

Same here, my 06' does feel hot when it 115° outside in the summer, I wonder why.
