Will the spoke wheels off a 99 UC fit an 05 RK Classic?

99 has 3/4" rear axle , 05 has 1" rear axle

As tj316 indicated the bearing ID is different. The other difference is the '99 wheels use a drop in type bearing with a pressed in race, while the 1" '05 bearings are sealed press in. It's not going to be as simple as getting the '05 bearings and swapping them out. There is also an inner spacer that goes in the hub between the bearings. This needs to be changed on the '99 wheels as well. It can be done, just need to find the right parts.

I used older laced wheels with a 3/4" rear axle. You will need to enlarge the hole in the hub to 1-5/16" minimum so the 1" spacer will fit. I used one of the cone shaped step drills to do this then used the same bearings and spacers that came on my 07 wheels.
