I have a 1990 FLHS and would like to use the primary cover from a TC88 part number 60665-99B. The curent cover number is 60606-89...will it fit short of having to change the derby and tensioner plates.

See the -99B in the part number. That is usually indicative of the first model year bike that it will fit on. In the case of that part, a 1999 bike.
I agree but when I plug the number into Google it brings me to dealer sites which state in the description that it will fit 94 and up ( one site states 90 and up ) but you must replace the derby.....Whats the difference between a 94 and a 90 ????

If anyone has an NOS chrome cover PM me.

Kevin,
You have mail. You are looking at the casting number inside of the primary. The PN I gave you is correct. the casting number inside is the same 60606-89.
