Well all,
I have verbally accepted a position in Sugar Land, Texas and will be moving there soon to start on Nov 13th. I think Im going to go through Harley to have my bike shipped as I don't and wish I did have time to ride the 1800+ miles there. They quoted me 820 from door to door. Im planning to have my car hauled also for 940 door to door. So I guess ill miss the rally at i believe in Galveston but Ill be there soon after. Coming from Connecticut it will be nice to ride 12 months. So I guess Ill meet all you Texans soon. Ill post when I get there and hopefully we can hook up for some rides. The woman isnt coming until after (selling the house) so I need to keep busy on weekends......

Let me be the first to say welcome. Your not going to have those senic places to ride anymore but like you said you can ride all year round. I live in Dallas so it's a good day's ride just to get to a hill or a curve. I moved here from Colorado 30 years ago and would never leave. I wish I could say "Welcome to Texas" but, I can't - I'm stuck in Connecticut and winter's coming :-( Enjoy your new location.

Welcome & have a safe move...... It's kinda flat out here, but we can certainly ride year round!
