Welcome to Texas, Spike!
I'm a Texan from San Antonio for only a few more days (in the process of relocating to OK) but Republic H-D in Stafford is a dealer in the area that comes highly recommended. Also, travel 3 hours west to the Hill Country for some great riding. Of course, there's lots of great uniquely Texas stops along the way.
thanks all.... I was at republic the other day i was there. They have a dyno there also cause ill need to get my bike redone for the altitude change. 3 hours to hills...damn... As for the Dallas peeps Ill be in touch after /i get settled to do some riding.

Should not have to if your EFI. The unit should compensate automatically is what I have heard.

Welcome to Oklahoma, Sol! Hope you enjoy our cooler temps in the Winter. If you are relocating to the northeastern part of Oklahoma, we have lots of hills, lakes, and trees........kinda like the country around Austin or Dallas.
Congrats on the new position. I'm sure you've looked at the cost of living here in the Houston area so that's going to be a treat for you too. From Sugarland you can take your time and be in the hill country in less than 3 hours I would think. I'm 20 miles south of Houston near NASA which puts me about 45min - 1 hour from Republic HD. You've got a lot of open road here and there are lots of cool trips to coastal towns as well. Remember to take a trip out to New Braunfels this fall and take a tour of that whole area. Gruene Texas is right there within minutes and you can get a good meal at the Gristmill that overlooks the river.
And of course welcome to Texas...[sm=welcomesign.gif]
So I have been thinking about this move and I just can't do it....... Rather I can't put those horns on my fairing as most texans have I know I can not get a big belt buckle! No offense but I can't do it
Ok sorry for the bustin... Anyways I found federal transport to haul my bike. The place I bought my bike from recommends them as that is all the owner uses himself. Saves me almost 100 to go through them then harley. They will deliver from door to door but I'll have them pick it up at my friends shop and deliver it to Republic Harley for 740.00
