Randomly the bike will not start it just cranks the only thing i changed this winter was a cam swap went from stock to 525 cams, i lined the timing marks up and changed the inner cam bearings
when its running i had a bad idle issues i put -18 in idle colume of the pcV and it seemed to work well idles 950 +or-5%. when cruising runs good but once in a while it will not start, spark is very good and plugs have a little liquid on them, the auto tune is working on the map but i am at a loss right now i am considering putting the old cams back in to see if it cures the issue but it seems only starting up is the problem once running it doesn't stall at all
any help would really be appreciated
try this..disconnect the fuel line at the tank and then reconnect it try starting it back up..i've had
that same problem and it started getting worse..went to my local dealer and talked to a parts guy he told me its common for the fuel supply line from tank to intake to go bad..also when u have the line off look for signs of wear around the fitting on the tank side of the coupler..
i am going to reinstall the pushrods tonight making sure they are adjusted properly but all honesty am i barking up the wrong tree with the camshafts being the issue or is it just coincidence that an issue arose, because during the first 8 hrs of running this year no issues what so ever and like i said i can rev the trottle up when its doing it and she will start and turn over, i did try to call fueling but i guess they dont answer there phones
well i think i found it one of the rods came out of adjustment throwing off air to fuel so i readjusted same it started better then it has in a while only issue is now pushords leak guess i should have replaced the gaskets again damn but anyways i think i am getting a handle on it
