Looking at a 2007 FLHTC----have a question bout the tour pack--have heard that there is a kit that will set it back a few more inches---any one know about this???? also some hiway pegs for the pass. that fits above the pass. floorboards----Thanks, selling my Wing and coming back to Harley----Wing is a great bike, but just miss the feel of a Harley
I have those pegs linked above and love them. They take the pressure off a little rider's legs as well as giving other positions for the ladies to wrap their legs better!
You can do two other things prior to spending the cash on the Kuryakyn tour pak kit. You can move it back an inch yourself by drilling out holes in the bottom plate of the tour pak to gain an inch. I did this and it worked great from advice here on the forum. The other is George Anderson's homemade tour pak kit which is about $95 shipped. It can move you back about 2.5" Do a search here on the forum for the address and phone number for him.

Gain a few extra inches for going those extra miles. This handy kit moves the Tour Pak back 2â to provide more room for your passenger. The added space makes things much more comfortable for the passenger and makes climbing on and off much easier, especially if the bike is equipped with a driver backrest.
Note: Not compatible with H-D's accessory enhanced sound system that positions an amplifier under the Tour-Pak.

Relocator Kit for Tour Pak
Fits â98-â06 Touring models equipped with H-D Tour Pakâ˘
I installed the Kuryakyn kit, and it definitely gave my wife more room on the back. However, I noticed a weight shift towards the back of the bike that makes the handling a little worse. You just need to realize that you are moving the passenger weight back, which changes the ride and handling.
Don't overlook the fact that on 06 and newer models HD designed a one inch adjustment for the tourpak. Take a look underneath for the detent before you spend any $$ on the Kuryakyn tourpak extender.
