Help with ipod issues
On my 2009 SERG...I bought the cable to plug into my iphone 4/ipod and stock HD stereo auxillary port. Thought, wow neat, I can listen to ipod tunes, but what keeps happening is I hear a little "dittle-ee-doo" tone, then the track switches. Happens about every 5-10 seconds, but once I'm moving, it doesn't seem to do it, and it will stay on one song.
Since it only does it when I first start out and am varying speeds, I thought it was the AVC setting on the deck- thought every time it adjusted the volume with my varying speed, it reset the ipod. So I turned the AVC to off, but it still does it.
Any ideas what the problem is?

When you set the iphone part of your phone playing you need to click the home button so the ipod function is not active. If it is still active and you place it in your pocket or whatever it is getting bumped and then going to the next song in your playlist.
Yep, had the same issue with mine.
Turn off "shake to shuffle" and you'll be fine.
Settings > iPod > Shake to Shuffle
tap to turn off or on

Ha ha if this thread brought you to tears with lafter, all I can say is ya gotta stop drinking the bong water...lol
Ya, I know, but I've never had an ipod until I got this iphone, and I only recently downloaded a playlist, so I haven't been using it that long- wasn't familiar with the shake to shuffle feature, but it's off now, so problem solved.
Thanks again.
