Like mentioned, a get rid of the CAT. I have Power Duals and Twin Slash mufflers (and Big Sucker and Fuel Moto tuned PC-V) and it eliminated the heat issue on my 2010 Street Glide. You definitely need a tuner if you do a complete stage one.

I ran my 2011 in some pretty hot weather when I got it last year. I think it runs cooler and sounds better than my 2008 did.
