I bought the K&N filter, and the HD Pro Street Tuner for my Ultra Limited. I did install Street Canons, but the others are still sitting on my shelf, as I’m thinking about staying stock in this bike? Should I or shouldn’t I?

If you don't ride in dust, like live on dirt road, I'd say go for it & let er breath.

It's a telling fact that if you're having oil analyzed by Blackstone lab and the sample shows high silica (dirt) levels they ask if you're using a K&N air filter. But to each their own.

After all, all they are is an oily rag between two screens. I like the cleanable, dry synthetic ones but I can't prove they're any better.

Had a K&N filter on my last bike (2001) and hated it. It stuck out too far and would ride on my knee. Not good on a long ride. Have a stock cover now and love it, even if I have to give up a little breathing.

My 07 stock rubber was falling apart by 08. With all the warranty issues I was pretty bitter.

I am still running K&N from 04 on othe bike Now that I think about it, maybe replace both for the hell of it. I clean them I got my time out of them,
