Default Fluids & Changing Intervals

Alright, I've been hearing mix comments on when you should change your engine, transmission, and primary chaincase fluids. I have an '08 Road King Classic. So, I want to see what you guys on here are doing...
All three use the same type of oil, correct?
I'm using Amsoil 20W50 Synthetic.
How many miles do you put on your:
1) engine oil?
2) transmission oil?
3) primary chaincase oil?

Thanks...

If you are going to use Amsoil, I would switch to 75/90 Severe Gear for the Tranny. As for the change frequency,it depends on the miles you ride. short rides and not many miles per year, I would change it more often. If not, go by the manual. I change my Engine oil every 5K. Tranny and primary at 10K

Crankcase Mobil 20W50
Primary Mobil synthetic ATF
Transmission Amsoil 75/90 Severe Gear

Change them all at 3,000 miles and again when putting it away for the season.

What made the service interval on my '03, every 3,000 miles to the 5,000 mile interval on the current bikes possible?

Thanks guys... I'll probably continue changing my engine & primary oils every 5,000 miles, or every Spring, and my transmission oil every 10,000 miles. I'll look into a heavier oil for the transmission...
Not sure if I'll continue spending the money on Amsoil... Might switch to HD SE synthetic.

The price may not be that different.

I don't ever remember a 3,000 mile service interval on fluid changes on '03. Where'd you hear that? It's always been at the 5's until 2006 when HD extended the interval on the trannys to something like 20,000.

HD doesn't even have a 3,000 SERVICE interval. ( Has always been 1000, 2,500, 5,000, 7,500 etc.)

Engine 5,000 Mobil 20W-50 V-Twin
Tranny 10,000 Mobil 75W-90 Gear Oil
Primary 5,000 Any cheap dino 10w-40 moto oil

89,000 miles and doesn't burn a drop.
