Highly recommend the ride on 360 from Vonore to Tellico Plains or vice versa depending on how you do the Skyway.

 

Less than 12 hours and it's off to the Dragon! I'm psycho I mean psyched! However you spell that :/

 

Headed out of INDY at 7am on Monday morning, gona be down there all week.

 

17 more days and I'm headed that way too. Guess I'll ride the dragon at least once, haven't done it on this bike but plan on riding the Hot Springs area this trip.
We aren't making plans this time, just gonna head out and ride. Stop when we feel like it and have fun.

 

Me and some buds are heading that way on Thursday. Will do the Cherohala Skyway and the Dragon along with whatever else we can fit in on Friday. Not sure about the timing, but I plan on stopping at the 129 HD for refreshments and petrol before heading back down and around on Hwy 28. My buddy's haven't come over to the dark side yet... they still ride Honda's, but hey, they are my buds, so I forgive them. Well, one of them rides a Yamaha cruiser, but his place suffered damage in the recent tornadoes that went through here, so I'm giving him a break at present.

Have to return on Saturday. Must be back to the house for Father's Day. It's okay, at least we'll get that much in for this ride.

I'll understand if ya'll ignore the dude ridin' with the metric crowd. Hey, I used to ride a Kawasaki Ninja 908, so I ain't pure either. Doesn't really bother me as I like riding regardless of the sled.
