My local dealer gave me a price of $1500 for the 5 year with the tire and wheel protection.
Would not budge on the price. He also told me that after my 90 days after purchase was up the price would be $1800+.
I've had the bike for almost 2 months now and it's not the first bike I bought from there. I'm really disappointed (just found out today) that I can do better on parts and accs on the net.
30 days of 10% off parts and accs, now nothing?
Oh, and No payment plan options for the ESP.
I was also thinking about getting their dealer service plan too.
My question is, Could I do better with the ESP else where?
I thought I read on here seomwhere that 20-25% off is reasonable???
After todays visit I will be shopping on the net from now on.
Thanks in advance.
It's your dime, but I would think about why your Dealer is offering you this plan at 1500.00 He is cutting the cost to get your business. If you plan to have this Dealer do your service, I would buy the plan from them. You might get better service that way...just saying!
I got my 5 year ESP along with the bike through Military Sales and for 5 years I paid 390.00. Now I know this is not a price everyone can get but tells me that there is a LOT of room for movement in the ESP pricing

Military People deserve it Port Dawg. If I had the power, I would take the money the Obama's has spent on Vacation's this year and buy every Military owner a Service plan.
After being told by 2 dealers that the actual list price for the 5 year plan is 1399.00 with the tire and wheel, I figured my local stealer at $1507 didn't deserve the business. But, I did give them a chance anyway.
After all, I only bought 2 bikes from them within the last year
Keep in mind that I did in fact give them a fair chance at earning more of my money and let the local know the price I found it for, his respose "I would buy it". hmmmm, so I did.
