Default cop bike differences?

Ok so I have a 2009 FLHP, Road King Police with the 103 engine. Is there any difference in the cop motor and the normal/later 103 motors? I know It's got a cop motor, a 103 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. I know I need to fix the lighter.....What else is "cop" are the mufflers freer flowing (they do sound different) Map different? A/C different??

I was told mine had a better charging system due to all the lights cops run. However I can come back from a long ride and put it on my battery tender plus and it will still charge for a coulple hours.

As for the mufflers the stock ones my 09 came with were extremly quiet. I recently put on some stock mufflers from a 2011 street glide and they seem to be slightly better sounding and engine runs smoother. I think the mufflers off the newer bikes with the cat are slightly more free flowing.

And although my rear fender had a warning sticker on it warning about running two up on the cop tires my bike came with stock touring dunlops.

I believe the trans/gearing is a lower first gear than "civilian" models.
Also the cop bikes come with a heavier duty/ higher output charging system, too.
Other than that, the "mechanics" are pretty much the same on both.

There is a thread up here somewhere (?) discussing cop bikes and listing all the specific "specs" of those Police models.

09's have stock dunlops, not run flats, same suspension as on the civilian models, 103" with ACR's, stock muffs, no cat in the head pipe, cop seat, cop handlebar switchs, standard cluth not easy pull, oil cooler, no air or oil temp guages, high output charging system, no radio or controls, hockey pucks, and alot of extra wires under the seat from all the cop stuff that used to be there.
Off the top of my head I think thats it. good luck with it, I love mine.
