Did just that last week. Very easy install and noticeable drop in oil temp as shown on my fearing mounted guage. Did the HD Premium Oil Cooler, if that matters.
Man, these summers seem to be getting hotter and hotter. Anyone installed an oil cooler on their touring bike?
I'm going to assume your being just a little facetious in asking that question, especially living in Texas. Look around the bikes down there and you'll not only see oil coolers on almost 100%, but the parade fans as well. In the 'hot' states, it's pretty much a must have.
There are many to choose from. HD has their own, Jagg makes an excellent after-market cooler, and there are the 'other' sort of what I call, 'gimmick' coolers. Good luck with your choice.
