2005 speaker upgrade
Greetings,
I have a 2005 electra glide Standard with a 2005 HD headunit. I wrecked last year and I'm finally putting her back together. I need to replace the speakers in the fairing since one broke. I would like to upgrade to the 6.5 speakers but they all seem to be for 06 and newer. I'm going to upgrade to an amp eventually but just doing the speakers for now due to $$$ all going torwards the paint and all the powdercoat. What ohms does my headunit put out? What ohms do my speakers need to be? Any preferred brands out there? I had fosgates before and they sounded pretty good. Thanks Jason
