Went to Colorado this year. Don't know if it gets any better than that. Nova Scotia might be close.

Tennessee, North Carolina, Smokie Mountains, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Pkwy, US 129, Deals Gap, etc...... beautiful country.
Go in any direction from where you are, and it's a beautiful ride.
