2000 ultraclassic, bike starts and runs fine,, when accelerate motor stops as if it ran out of gas..checked fuel filters all seem clean,at times to get it to start have to remove fuel line from tank to release pressure no codes are displayed so cant find problem help...

 

EFI? Carb? Maby you have a hole in your fuel line in the tank. Only gives enough pressure at idle to run and when you ask for more she dies. Welcome to the forum!

 

efi not delphi has return port in tank,, has pressure on line when i pull line from tank,, bike runs fine only stops when u accelarate...

 

A weak fuel pump may have enough to idle but not be able to support anything off idle. Get a fuel pressure gauge & check pressure & flow. Too bad your not in Colorado, I would be able to help more.

Check the crank sensor.

 

fuel filter in the tank could be clogged...does it seem like the pump runs a little longer than usual???
