Museum Debut
I was one of the lucky few who got to attend the Harley Museum 2012 model introduction last night. I saw bikes from as far away as California and Florida, and of course all points in between. At 6:30 p.m. they rolled in about 15 models and then the riders (mostly engineers) hung around to answer questions. I asked some pretty specific questions about the CVO Road Glide; i.e., 110 c.i. heat issues, if they had tested the integrated oil coolers, etc. The engineer I talked to (Greg) didn't have the answers but he took down my email and said he'd ask around and get back to me. Well, at around noon today he did just that. I received a lengthy email answering my questions, and also thanking me two times for coming out to the debut party. It's pretty rare when any employee shows this kind of customer service, but it's even rarer when an employee of a company this big does. Kudos to Greg and the other engineers that made themselves available last night.
