Default Software Update HK Radio

I stumbled across a HK software update and was wondering if anyone has updated their radio and if it is worth while to do this?

A few people started having problems after doing the upgrade. It might be better not to. If the radio is working fine now, why take the chance?

The only problem that I was aware of was with a persons CD writing software. For reasons unknown their software would not burn the download properly to a CD. Some had to find and download a different CD burning application to their PC's and then they were able to burn the upgrade to a CD. Some that did this didn't offer their CD to others though.

I upgraded mine several weeks ago. No problems. Follow the instructions to download the file, copy it to a CD, and install the CD according to the instructions. The AAS takes over and copies the files into the system. Takes roughly 10 minutes.

What are the benefits? Anything obvious?
