I just bought a battery from these guys. I bought the Deka ETX30L which as many on this forum have said is the same as the HD 66010-97C, just cheaper. Couldn't be happier. Quick shipping and a great price.

yes...keep that baby charged and you will be good to go. A smart trickle charger during months of non use will help prevent sulfate deposits. A smart trickle charger has different states of charge and cuts off and on automatically.

Kept in on a battery tender it's 5 yrs old taking a long time for green light to come on

I stick with the hd batteries just because they are made so thick cased I don't have to worry about it cracking and leaking. I also plug in after every ride and all winter long as well. Works for me.
