you have two great bikes! nothing wrong with that =) hope cee bailey's is an option for your tiger when you do decide to spend $$ on parts! enjoy your bike and ride safe
I agree that's it's no shame. Have a friend who swears by his Tiger.
I'm playing with the idea of a second small "canyon-carver run around" bike, and at first I was looking at either a Sportster (either Nightster or Iron w/ 1200 conversion) or a Ducati Monster 696. But then I sat on a Triumph Speed Triple 650 and was very impressed. Need to find one to test ride.
Gruamach, what is a Speed Triple 650? The Speed Triple these days is a 1050. Do you mean the Street Triple, which is a 675?
Must have been the Street Triple......wasn't the 1050, was a 600-something.
The two looked about the same, so must have confused them.
I liked it for the same reason I like the Duc Monster. It's a sport bike, but you still sit a LOT more upright, not leaning over licking the gastank with all your weight on your palms.
Those Tiger's are really nice bikes, especially the later years like you got. This year's was a Best of The Year in one of the big mags (or maybe runner-up). I been looking at em real close myself. As for being a traitor, nah. You ride a bike. Don't matter to me what you ride.
