I have a 2009 ultra with screaming eagle ac,sert, rush pipes w/ 2.25 baffle tuned by hd for proper air/fuel mix. my question is if I swap 2.5" baffles can i get away without retuning. looking for a little deeper tone without droping 1500 bucks. thanks

 

First of all, if you already have a SERT, are you telling me a dyno where you're from costs $1,500? And secondly, I'd have to believe going from 2.25 to 2.5 wouldn't make that much difference... I'd make the change if I were you, but it's YOUR money. :-)

 

Dyno not 1500. If I stay with the sert I have to go with Harley dealer. Dyno is around 400-500 i believe . New pipes, tuner, and Dyno around1500. Kind of done with dealers around here.

 

Lot of independent Dyno Guys around if check .. Most I ever had to pay was 200.00 to fine tune it .. Just to run it and see the numbers and AFR is 35.00

 

You shouldn't have a problem with changeing to quitier baffles. Install your new mufflers and run em.

 

Anybody know of any tuners in the western md area that tune sert?
