Sorry for the noob question, but a local dealer will be offering half price "baseline dyno runs" this weekend for $40. If I do it, what will it get me? I have a Xbones with the Harley race tuner, Stage 1 air kit, and V&H pipes.

A print out of your HP and TQ at different RPMs I would hope.
Did you do a dyno tune when you installed the SERT? If so you should have a stock baseline run and stage 1 dyno results. If not the baseline should have at least 4 runs to get proper engine temp for good honest #'s

 

You'll get a cool print out, I would go with a full tuning...then you'd get the improvements you're looking for...must my thoughts. $40 print out with no adjustments...$$

 

Thanks. I'm not sure if the dealer did an initial dyno run when they installed the SERT, pipes and air cleaner. So if I read this right, I'll get the numbers and they should tell me what else might need to tuned?

 

if they dont give you the afr it is not work it. I can get a run for regular price of 50 and it has afr. dyno tune just went up from 280 to 320. they now ask 80 an hr labor.
