I bought a power commander for my 2011 rk. But I have no idea what it is going to do?

I have dresser duals and high flow ac... I know I need it to make my bike run correctly.. But what if and performance increases is it going to give my bike?

In short, it richens the air/fuel mixture so that your motor doesn't blow itself up from the lean condition resulting from the increased airflow caused by your less restrictive air filter and exhaust system.

Why'd you buy it if you don't know anything about it? There's other options out there, but that's probably the most popular.

Here is a good thread that will give you a lot of information on the PCV ECM.

If you have had a map preloaded onto the unit then its just put and play. If you just bought one off eBay or a store shelf then it just comes with a generic map and you will need to go to Dyno Tune's website and download a canned map for whatever bike you have and for whatever parts you (or someone else) have put on.

...he probably bought it because, reading this forum..you would probably come away thinking that there is no possible way to ride, or own a Harley without one...kind of made me chuckle...it's like" I have no idea what this thing is...but I know I'm supposed to have one in my bike...all the guys on the Harley web site told me so"...

Since you have no idea what the PC will do, then I recommend you carry the bike and the PC to a certified Dyno shop, let them install The PC and tune the bike.
