Default Running Lean?

Hi, new here, have 06 flhx, 95 stage 2, cams not sure which ones 203's? maybe, with screeming eagle 2 slip ons, HD map stage 2 race, poor performance at low speed, but lots of noise, good top end and cruising, sparkplugs-chocolate brown. Switched out slip ons, with new sparkplugs, to 09 flhx factory mufflers off a 96tc, better performance all around, top end maybe not so, but I don't drive there, but now spark plugs are white, would putting on factory pipes not make it run richer?

Until you take it in and have it dyno'ed, which is the one thing you left out in the litany of variables, no one can say, or will attempt to (most likely). Don't do anything until you've done that ONE thing.

Get a Harley supper tuner and do the test runs and use smart tune make the adjustments to you map. It is not that hard. I was doing the smart tune and thought that it was not working so I paid a guy to dyno and he said that my bike was all ready at 76 hp that was with using smart tune he was only able to get 2 hp more and the bustard still charge me 300. Bucks

Exhaust gas analysis, either by your dyno guy or yourself, is the only way to validate your tune condition. Trying to read sparkplugs in an EFI for the purpose of tuning is futile.

Checked with HD dealer this morning, pulled plugs, tech says normal for EFI with factory exhaust. Good piece of mind though. No charge, Dealer here is very good to work with. Thanks for your suggestions, tuner in the future.

"tech says normal"

I hate to rob you of your peace, but while it may indeed be normal, it isn't normal because the tech said it. "The tech" said it was normal for my bike to burn a quart of oil every 800-1000 miles. It wasn't, and still isn't normal. It's fixed now, but I learned to trust my gut more than I trust a tech telling me that something is "normal" that doesn't seem normal.
