The directions are pretty straightforward. Just remember to wipe the whole thing down with Windex before you start the bike.

And wax it with a good quality wax, polish and wax after the firs few heat cycles (re torque after first few heat cycles to make sure everything is tight), read the instructions that came with it on care of the chrome. Windex gts rid of any oils and prints and keeps them from baking in on first heat cycles, the wax puts a good base on the pipe. Best pipe, best chrome anywhere.

I just installed a fatcat yesterday and needed to double up on the SE exhaust gaskets cause the from header would touch the cam cover cone, per Leanard at D&D.

Windex the pipes before starting to get all the prints/grease off...otherwise you'll have marks burned into pipe(s). Also, get some HT silicone (liquid copper) for the header/pipe seal. Good luck, enjoy - they're great pipes.

I great tuner told me when I was going to a Fatkat from a Caliber to leave the mounting bolt on the trans loose and snug the exhast nuts firm, start the bike and let run till hot then let cool and you will get several more turns on the nuts. Warm the bike again and repeat then tighten up the mounts and you'll never have a problem with leaking gaskets.

D&d might have changed the gaskets that they supply. I bought 2 sets of the se gaskets, but the d&d ones r twice as thick as the se.
