My saddlebags look like they are leaning out at the tops.I need some pic's ( close ups ) of the saddlebag brackets that the pins go into to see if the spacers are to wide or something. It has been like this since I have owned the bike and has always bothered me. I am thinking the original owner changed something and I want to make it right

 

can you post a photo of what you have and year/model bike.

I had the same problem. Look where the bags attach to the brackets on the upper support. Where the bracket and support attach if there is a aluminum spacer on the back bracket then that's the problem.

If that sounds weird then just look for a spacer near the rear attaching point of the bag.
